Jonah's Last Shot - Hannah

Yesterday Jonah had his last of six rabies shots (See Manuel Antonio and the Naughty Raccoon.) He didn't cry for any of his shots, and actually looked forward to this last trip. He and Dylan look forward to the car ride where they play the animal game--where you think of an animal and the other person asks questions to figure out what it is.

I found it interesting that it was the same nurse who gave him the shot every time. We never had to make an appointment, yet she was always the one there. I find that's often the case. It's usually the same person at the paper store, the pharmacy, the butcher, the baker, the post office, etc. I see what it means now to have that small town feeling, where you know everyone on your route and they know you.
